The magnificent St. Paul The Apostle Church in New York City is the backdrop for the event providing a unique concert experience. Crown of Thorns brought the VIP audience to their knees with an altar-shaking performance of songs from their latest album FAITH available now. "Faith," "All In My Head," "Living In The Shadows," "Dying For Love, " "Motorcycle Loretta," and "Rock Ready."
"We wanted to give our fans the chance to see us live and experience songs from the new album in a setting that captured the spirit and energy of the band," said front man Jean Beauvoir. "The location is amazing and offers viewers an awesome concert experience."
"iClips is ecstatic about our continued relationship with Stevie Van Zandt and his related projects. It's exciting to exclusively debut Crown of Thorns live performing songs from their new CD FAITH and to support the launch of Steven's hard rock imprint Lost Cathedral," said Nate Parienti, Founder, iClips.
Stevie Van Zandt Presents Crown of Thorns Live celebrates the label's first release. Crown of Thorns FAITH is a solid collection of rock tunes that brings back the trademark sound that established the band as a global force to be reckoned with and keeps intact all the elements of infectious guitar riffs, soaring hooklines, and great melodies. All songs on FAITH were written and produced by frontman Jean Beauvoir except "Rock Ready" which he co-wrote with bassist Michael Paige, "Living In The Shadows" co-written with guitarist Tommy Lafferty, and "Motorcycle Loretta," a featured bonus track co-written with Steven Van Zandt. The CD's mystical undertones are culled from Beauvoir's voodoo heritage. His Uncle is internationally renowned Voodoo Priest Max Beauvoir, the inspiration behind the film and subject of the book "The Serpent and The Rainbow." (Wade Davis and Wes Craven).
"Over the years I've incorporated elements of Voodoo spirituality in my music. With FAITH I tapped into my heritage and brought the symbolism and meaning behind Voodoo into the forefront both in image and feeling. I wanted fans to experience the energy and electricity through the music," explains Jean.
Lost Cathedral is part of the Renegade Nation family of entertainment ventures founded by Stevie Van Zandt which also includes Wicked Cool Records and Little Steven's Underground Garage syndicated radio show.
